League Rules
- All Games are played to 21 or 11-0 Shutout. (Shutouts
will be recorded as 21-0) (Forfeits will count as a WIN Only, No Points recorded.)
- Matches will consist of 3 games per night. A player may only play in one game. Each team must need a minimum of 6 players.
(*Roster Info: 6 -15 players. A player may not be allowed
to be on two rosters. May result in a forfeit.)
- Forfeits - A team will have a 15 min. grace period for
the 1st Game. 5 min. grace period for the 2nd Game.
5 min. grace period for the 3rd Game.
- Coin Flip
Game 1: Team that wins the flip will have choice of either color or last weight (Maryann).
Game 2: Team that
wins the flip will have choice of first or last weight (Maryann).

- The board must be cleaned and salted at the beginning of the first
game. The board will also be cleaned and salted in between games (not
during). Both team captains can agree on not salting the board in between
second and/or 3rd game.
- There is no talking when your opponent is shooting a
weight. Use Good & Proper Sportmanship. Players may not walk to the
opposite end of the board to examine the position of the weights. There is also no coaching
or advice to a player by anyone.
- Foul Line - Weights must pass the foul line to be
considered a legal weight. If it is touching or is before the foul line it is
to be removed from the table immediately. (The foul line is the closest foul
line from where you are shooting from.)
- A weight may not go into the gutter and back onto the
board. If so, it is to be removed from the table. If it hits other weights,
those weights must be placed back to their original spot. (use best judgment)
- A weight is considered a dead weight after it has
stopped moving. If a dead weight has fallen off the board without being hit by
another weight, it must be placed back on the board to its original spot. (use
best judgment)
- Scoring:
1 point = 1 point line to Foul line
2 points = 2 point line to 1 point line(not touching)
3 points = End of table to the 2 point line(not touching)
4 points = Any weights hanging off the end of the table(not the sides)
You may only score points if your weights are ahead of your opponents weights.
Whether or not a Weight is resting on a line is determined by looking down directly over the top of the Weight, from the scoring end of the board.
- The team that scores points, will go first.
- If no points are scored. The team that shot last will
shoot last once again.
- A player shooting out of turn and delivering first weight when they have Maryann, loses
the privlege of Maryann.
- Please be considerate to other shooters if you are not playing.
Standings: Wins, Loses, Avg., PF, PA, +/- Dif.
Tie Breakers: 1) Wins, 2) Loses, 3)Head to Head, 4)+/- Dif., 5)Least
PA, 6) Most PF
*Important: Captains are
required to call in scores if your team wins 2 or 3 games. If there are any
conflicts with scheduling throughout the season Team Captain should notify the
League Committee and the other Team Captain to reschedule the match.
Matches should be rescheduled before the following week's scheduled games. The Committee will have final say on any conflicts and reschedules.
Each team will have a minimum of 2 scheduled Home games. (One in each half of the season)
If a team does not have a home board they may choose one as long as it doesn't interfere with another home game that has already been scheduled for that week.
All-Star Challenge
- 16 Players Needed.
- Current standings from the previous week will be used
to rank team position.
- Based on 7 Team Season: Pos. 1 & 2 will have 3
players. Pos. 3 -7 will have 2 players representing.
- Based on 8 Team Season: 2 Players will represent each
team.
- Based on 9 Team Season: Top 7 teams will have 2 players. Pos. 8 & 9 teams will
have 1 player.
- Based on 10 Team Season: Top 6 teams will have 2 players. Pos. 7-10 Teams will have 1
player.
- Names will be randomly picked to be partnered up.
(Single Game Elimination)
- Team 1 vs Team 2
- Team 3 vs Team 4
- Team 5 vs Team 6
- Team 7 vs Team 8
- The board will be choice of the defending champions
from the previous year.
- This will be held on the Wednesday before Christmas Eve.
